Young Professionals of Color Conference

The Young Professionals of Color Conference (YPCC) is designed to create a space for young professionals of color to be able to come together to learn from and engage with their peers and leaders in the Grand Rapids community.

The city of Grand Rapids is growing and so are the diversity and inclusion efforts from businesses and organizations. Young professionals bring value, insight and innovation to West Michigan. This conference was developed in partnership by young professionals of color at Cascade Engineering and the BL²END Board of Directors. Every year since 2012, this ambitious group of young people have developed a conference theme based on the unique challenges and opportunities that young professionals of color currently experience in West Michigan. The conference is encompasses fresh, new and innovative sessions that engage young professionals and offer career-changing and inspirational business advice. Leaders from our community and nation-wide speakers engage share their insight, knowledge and expertise to help future leaders navigate their way through their professional careers.

We encourage all conference attendees to be the change they want to see, share the insights and ideas learned at the conference and apply them to their careers and communities. This conference a small part of the overall effort to make West Michigan an inclusive place to live work and play.
